Faria Tabassum Hoque, MBBS, CMA, CET, CPT, CPCT is a dedicated healthcare educator who brings a unique blend of international medical training and U.S.-based clinical expertise to her role as an Instructor in the Allied Health Programs at the Manhattan School of Computer Technology (MSCT).
A graduate of Kumudini Women’s Medical College and Hospital under the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, Faria earned her MBBS degree in 2011. She completed a comprehensive hospital internship across multiple specialties, including Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, Gynecology and Obstetrics, Psychiatry, and Emergency Care — building a strong, well-rounded clinical foundation.
After transitioning to the United States, she further strengthened her professional credentials by earning four certifications through the American Medical Certification Association: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA), EKG Technician (CET), Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), and Patient Care Technician (CPCT). Her diverse clinical background allows her to provide students with practical, real-world insights that extend far beyond the textbook.
As a registered physician with the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council and a multilingual professional fluent in English, Bengali, Hindi, and Urdu, Faria connects naturally with students from a wide range of cultural backgrounds. Her approachable teaching style and hands-on perspective create an engaging learning environment where students feel supported and inspired.
